Which foods are recognized automatically?

The RM90H64P2W page lists image-to-name matching for 40 registered foods. For other items, it calls for manual name changes and storage-date settings. Do not apply this number to other refrigerators.

Food in opaque bags or containers with opaque tops cannot be identified. Samsung's 2025 support guide also says several items inserted together may register as one. Add groceries separately, then compare the registered names.

Can you rely only on storage-date reminders?

This model's guidance describes storage dates as recommendations from Samsung's database. They can differ from actual sell-by or use-by dates. Keep checking package labels, and correct names or dates that do not match.

Before closing the door, check the labels on newly added foods so you can compare them with the list. Finding an item in the app does not establish its condition.

Where should you check the connection and camera?

Install and link SmartThings and connect to a wireless network. Samsung support describes completing camera setup on the fridge panel, then opening AI Vision Inside under the refrigerator in SmartThings. Compare menu names with your model's manual.

The support guide warns that the camera can capture your body at close range. Check how to disable it when unused. For a purchase consultation, bring the model number and ask to see its recognition scope and manual editing controls on that model's screen.
